Productive machining processes require efficient and reliable machines and systems. Our services help to ensure that your production always functions at the highest level.

Calibration service

Quality management systems require regular calibration of the measuring equipment used in manufacturing.
Diebold does all calibration services in its own factory with specially trained staff in a fully air-conditioned environment. For calibration we use our own high-precision calibration masters for comparison and measure gauges on our most accurate measuring machines in the measuring room of quality class 2.
You will receive a quality certificate for the calibration. In addition, we guarantee traceability to the standards of the German Calibration Service Institutes.

We recommend an annual calibration of your measuring technology in order to ensure the process reliability of your production and in order to comply with your quality assurance processes.

In this way, you ensure your relevant quality features such as function and dimensional accuracy.

The annual service allows you to easily identify runout errors of your HSK machine spindle!

  • If necessary cleaning with a process specially adapted to the surface
  • Checking of all functional dimensions with feedback to the DAkkS (German Calibration Service Institute) via our reference standards
  • Execution of the necessary rework in order to comply with the original tolerances

  • Documentation and updating of the measuring results in our data base

Quality management systems require regular maintenance of the measuring equipment used in the company. Technical defects due to wear and tear are detected early. This is the only way you can ensure function, dimensional accuracy and repeatability and produce certified quality.

Diebold carries out all maintenance works in its own factory with specially trained staff in a fully air-conditioned environment.
Of course, you will receive a quality certificate.

The regular service allows you to easily exclude possible sources of error at your measuring instruments!

Our service package includes:

  • Visual inspection and functional test
  • Localization and recording of deviations from the nominal condition
  • Disassembly of the measuring instrument into all individual parts
  • Inspection of the individual parts for damages and wear and replacement of these
  • Cleaning of the individual parts with a process specially adapted to the surface
  • Reassembly of the measuring instrument
  • Readjustment of the measuring devices
  • Functional test
  • Checking of the measuring results and repeatability
  • Preparation of the test documentation and attachment of the inspection sticker

Our spindle repairs are characterized by the highest quality and top service

Our comprehensively trained service staff repair high-frequency spindles of various designs and from different manufacturers.

The spindle repair includes the replacement of the bearings, the reworking or replacement of the tool clamping system, the reworking of the spindle taper, the test run as well as the documentation of the spindle repair including a test report.

Diebold relies on the “One man – one spindle” principle. This assembly principle means that a complete spindle is revised and tested by a single specialist employee of Diebold. Each spindle receives a certificate that the technician signs and guarantees the quality and the professional overhaul of the spindles.

With a huge stock of spare parts, we guarantee an emergency service for selected spindle types within 5 working days. Our “Spindle hotel” assures you a replacement service within one day and drastically minimizes your downtimes.

By purchasing a Diebold shrink unit, you are opting for comprehensive support and perfect service. 

In case of repairs, we provide you with a loan unit. This service is free of charge during the warranty period.
