Gauge service and annual calibration

Quality management systems require the regular calibration of your operational measuring equipment according to ISO 9001. We recommend an annual calibration of your measuring equipment to ensure the process reliability of your production and to adhere to your quality assurance processes. This is the only way you can produce certified quality products. We do not only calibrate measuring gauges manufactured by Diebold, no, also test bars and alignment bars from other manufacturers. Many well-known machine tool manufacturers have entrusted us with the calibration of their measuring equipment for their machine service, because we measure and document professionally and reliably. Every measuring device that has once been with us, is given a serial number and is kept in a life cycle data base. Customers often lose the measurement protocols of their gauges, just a call or an email is good enough and the customer receives a copy of the measurement protocol in a matter of seconds.

Calibration Services

Quality management systems require regular calibration of the measuring equipment used in manufacturing.
Diebold does all calibration services in its own factory with specially trained staff in a fully air-conditioned environment. For calibration we use our own high-precision calibration masters for comparison and measure gauges on our most accurate measuring machines in the measuring room of quality class 2.
You will receive a quality certificate for the calibration. In addition, we guarantee traceability to the standards of the German Calibration Service Institutes.

We recommend an annual calibration of your measuring technology in order to ensure the process reliability of your production and in order to comply with your quality assurance processes.

In this way, you ensure your relevant quality features such as function and dimensional accuracy.

Diebold Test Bars with HSK taper are second to none in the world market. Many well-known machine tool manufacturers buy their Test Bars from Diebold and they have entrusted us with the calibration of their measuring equipment for their machine service. Reliable and professionally calibrated gauges are very important for machine tool builders and their customers.

We calibrate Test Bars with all types of steep taper such as DIN, ANSI, BT and BT with face contact. We recommend to use our calibration service annually in order to confirm the precision of your SK test arbor.

Test Arbors with ball probe are made for the position check of the RCP=rotation center point of 5-axis machines. Diebold manufactures Test Bars for 5-axis machines that are second to none in the world market.

Diebold Pull Force Gauges are geniously crafted mechanical Power Check instruments to measure the pull force of the tool retention system of machine tool spindles. Because of their design, temperature influence is not an issue for excact measuring.

The accuracy of machine spindle tapers is very important if you want to machine good parts. Therefore your taper gauges need to be calibrated regularly.

  • Measuring and certification of the taper gauge and the master ring
  • Rework if necessary in order to comply with the tolerances

Master Tapers for Diebold Taper Gauges are made to the highest accuracy level so that your taper gauges will read microns. The surface of the masters are well protected against wear but due to the use in manufacturing they need to be checked and calibrated regularly.

Unbalance of machine spindles lead to bad cutting results. Therefore your Balancing Masters need to be re-certified periodically.

Alignment tools for checking of the alignment of the machine spindle with the tool changer postion are impotant for the function of the machine tool changer.

Runout Test Spindles are used to check the runout of a tool holder and the cutting tool outside of the machine. The tool holder is clamped in the test spindle with a gripper that applies the same clamping force as the machine spindle.
