HISTORY

Tradition and innovation around tool holder systems

Passion for Perfection since 1952

In 1952, young entrepreneur Helmut Diebold founded the Helmut Diebold precision machine shop which later became the Diebold Goldring Factory. At this time, the company produced parts for the domestic textile machine industry, but employees had already begun to manufacture the first tool holders and spindle components. The economic upswing in the post-WWII era helped Diebold to grow fast and in 1968 a new factory was built at the current location in Jungingen.

2023

Technology Day 2023 in our company. We presented the Diebold product range, innovations and world novelties in our climate-neutral company. An exhibition of the development in shrink technology over the last decades completes the company tour.

2022

We celebrate the 70th anniversary of our company. The highlight in 2022 is the MM Award for our world novelties in shrinking and balancing technology.

2021

Development of shrink technology smart concept. Digitalisation of tool management is the big topic of progress. For this reason, completely new user interfaces have been developed as touch displays for our US1100 series shrink fit machines.

2020

Since a view years of consistent investment in sustainable energy-saving concepts and their consistent implementation, we have achieved these high environmental and energy standards and can justifiably speak of being a "climate-neutral location".

2019

Investment in automatic raw material warehouse. Hall 1 renewed, Co2 reduction 94%

2015

Installation of the measuring room quality class 2 with two measuring machines Leitz PMMC with an accuracy of 0.6 µm

2010

Commissioning of the fully automatic parts warehouse

2006

Production of spindles in the fully air-conditioned production hall, spindle assembly in the clean room

2002

Expansion of the product range to include measuring equipment for the measurement of tool holders and spindles. Diebold is the technological leader in this area today

Introduction of Diebold high-frequency spindles

Extension of the program by spindle components for machine tools of the most well-known machine manufacturers in Europe.
